her explore various subjects for her photography.  Her interpretive grasp of nature is displayed in her photographic and acrylic media. 

Her images are mostly of the local landscape, she has also produced pieces from Northern Alberta and Northern British Columbia, Northern Ontario and Hamilton.  She has an appreciative outlook at the beauty and simplicity of nature, as well as the interesting man made objects – angles and lines around her.


Intricate

At both Canadore and Mohawk College’s, Lianne studied graphic design, pottery and photography.  Since graduating, she has continued some studies with many evening courses and workshops.  Lianne was employed for a time with the Hamilton and Region Arts Council, and after a move to North Bay, with the North Bay Arts Centre.  Since then she has worked in pottery, beadwork, canvas, art cards and is known primarily for her photography.

Lianne has responded to her artistic muse at an early age, she was 14 years of age when she began photography with an old Kodak Brownie camera, she now uses a Nikon single lens reflex digital camera.

Kemptville Doors


Lianne is a long time Kemptville resident and has been a member and executive in many local community groups such as the North Grenville Arts Guild (NGAG), the Branch Artisans, North Grenville Arts and Culture Council (NGACC), the Dandelion Festival and the Nepean Fine Arts League (NFAL).  Lianne was also a founding member of ArtScene Spencerville an Artist run co-op Gallery in Spencerville.

 Lianne enjoys her time promoting all art disciplines – dance, theatre, choral, visual arts, culinary and crafts.
